Well... OK, you got me - there may be more to the V than just a typo! I just bought an LVc on Dec 21, after admiring them for a long while, and had always seen it listed as LV, so assumed that was the only correct model number - but googling just now for '116610V' turns up multiple references.

While I don't know of any differences, it seems that Rolex themselves also have used a V in the model number as evidenced by your warranty card (My warranty card lists LV).
