Got this in today bought from a private seller. White 1680 submariner. The purists may not care for it because, as you can tell, almost everything is service replacement parts. But I have always wanted a 1680 and I finally have one that runs perfect, has functional lume, and is basically an entirely new watch. I think someone on the forums recently used the analogy of an old muscle car that's been tuned up - not as valuable as the original, but an amazing piece of machinery that works great and is fun to use. My gf is mad at my spending habits, some friends are jealous, but I thought maybe I could get some love here.
