IWC Pilot St. Exupery in White Gold

I very recently picked up this watch, and am very happy with it. It is one of 250 IWC Pilot St. Exupery models made in 18K white gold. The nice heft and brilliant shine of the gold make me very happy.

Here are some photos of the watch:

The box is large and quite nice. It came with a book to read about Mr. St. Exupery.

The hallmarks are in an interesting place.

Even though it is a large watch (44mm) it sits well on my 7.5" wrist.

The dial is an astounding tobacco sunburst. It really makes the watch!

The lume is really great as well.

Thanks for looking!

"It's hard to find the proper adjectives to describe the Submariner. It's the watch that can both begin and end a collection. It's the watch that you can wear every single day of your life and not worry about, or it's the watch you can put in a safe and have it rise in value year after year. The Submariner is, in my belief, the quintessential timepiece for many. When my mind thinks of the word 'watch,' it is a Submariner I see."
