Thanks for ur input guys

wow thank you for that information tools, that took alot of stress away is it because back then they polished it by hand or the machines weren't precision accurate in cutting holes and cases ?

Using the bracelet end-link as a reference point for the case lug thickness is wrong..they all fit a little bit differently. I have watches that have never been worked on and the end-link sits even with the lug horn..
