Will this hurt my watch?

I have a 14000 Air King that runs +8 sec / day. I find myself pulling the crown when I wake up and then starting it again 8 seconds later.

Is this bad for the movement in anyway?

I am dealing with the financial markets all day at work and keeping accurate time is extremely important to me.
Used to wear a quartz watch for this reason but I fell in love with automatic movement. Can't go back now!
