Stay away from the "Rolex Girls"...yet another case...

This article is from The SunSentinel today:

Rolex robber nabbed, cops say
Police: Seductress stole jewelry, watch worth $40K
By Tonya Alanez | Staff writer
Yet another so-called Rolex girl landed in a Broward jail cell this week on suspicion of swiping a luxury watch and diamond jewelry valued at more than $40,000 from a sleeping man in a Hollywood hotel room, authorities said.
Victoria Aughenbaugh was free on bond within 48 hours of her Wednesday arrest, records show.
At her Thursday morning court hearing, she told a Broward judge she was employed as a dancer and had lived in South Florida for three years. Records show this was Aughenbaugh’s third South Florida arrest since November.
The 22-year-old allegedly set her sights on a Texas man and his pal at SET Nightclub in Miami in November, but wasn’t picked up until Wednesday on a warrant. A Broward deputy retrieved her from a Miami-Dade County jail early that morning.
At SET she had partied with the Texas duo before they moved on to a strip club, where the pal decided to call it a night and took a cab to his hotel. Aughenbaugh and Remiro Cano, of Grand Prairie, Texas, stayed out drinking until she suggested they get a room of their own, the report said.
Surveillance video recorded about 6:30 a.m. Nov. 23 showed the couple at the reception desk of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 4000
S. Ocean Blvd. in Hollywood, where Cano rented a room, the report said.
The last thing Cano remembers is that he lay down while Aughenbaugh took a shower. When he awoke to the sound of his pal pounding on the door at 12:30 p.m., Aughenbaugh was gone — and so was Ca-no’s $20,000 Presidential Rolex, $15,000 two-carat diamond ring, $5,000 gold bracelet with his last name set in diamonds, Gucci wallet and $200 cash, the report said.
Despite two telephone messages, Aughenbaugh’s private Miami-based attorney, Alberto Quirantes, could not be reached for comment.
Since spring of 2013, South Florida law enforcement officials have chalked up dozens of cases of club-hopping femme fatales who seduce and rob intoxicated Rolex-wearing men. Several such cases are pending in Broward Circuit Court; one woman was sentenced Jan. 29 to five years’ probation after paying $20,000 to the man she swindled.
Since mid-December, police in Hallandale Beach, Hollywood and Coral Gables have reported nearly identical crimes and released surveillance video of various suspects.
When the Hollywood police officer investigating Aughenbaugh’s case saw the hotel surveillance video, he recognized the blonde with a distinctive collarbone scar from a recent booking mugshot, the police report said.
It did not indicate what agency the mugshot was from, but records show Aughenbaugh was arrested Nov. 13 in downtown Miami and Jan. 26 in Sunny Isles Beach.
One police report lists Aughenbaugh’s home address as a condo at the Intracoastal Yacht Club in Sunny Isles Beach. The next one says she lives on Drexel Avenue in Miami Beach. Online court records related to her most recent arrest have her back living in the Sunny Isles condo.
Likewise, her state of birth varies. Sometimes it’s Pennsylvania, other times it’s Illinois, records show.
Aughenbaugh’s November arrest occurred at E11EVEN Miami after the nightclub’s bouncer called police to report seeing her make a drug transaction in the club. Police found cocaine and half a tablet of MDMA in her purse, according to a Miami-Dade police report. The resulting cocaine possession charge was discharged Dec. 14, court records show.
It was an alleged New Year’s Day Rolex theft at a Hilton in Miami Beach that resulted in Aughenbaugh’s Jan. 26 arrest. She is accused of again meeting her mark at SET Nightclub on Lincoln Road.
The out-of-state man invited Aughenbaugh to his room, where they had sex and he fell asleep. When he awoke, his $8,500 Rolex had been stripped from his wrist and Aughenbaugh was nowhere to be seen. She did, however, leave behind a fingerprint on a Gatorade bottle, a Miami Beach police report said.
The man identified her in a photo lineup. Sunny Isles Beach police arrested her Jan. 26. Two days later, she was free on $3,000 bond, records show.
Five days after that, she was back in jail — this time in Broward. After posting $10,000 bond, she was released at 3:34 a.m. Friday. [email protected]  ,
