FS/FT: Tudor Chrono 79260 Panda Dial Transitional w/Rolex Signed Crown & Case
Hi All,
The watch pictured below is my personal Tudor Chronograph 79260 with an amazing looking silver Panda sunburst dial. Serial Number is B80XXXX which has a manufacture date of around 1996. This watch is considered a poor man's Daytona, but I have had many Daytonas and let me tell you there is nothing poor about this watch! It's fit and finish are great, and has the workhorse 7750 movement. This watch is Pre-Tiger which means it is more collectible, as this is one of the last that has the signed Rolex case, and Rolex crown etc. You can tell it came from the same factory minus the movement, the quality screams Rolex! The vintage vibe is simply amazing, as it resembles a Daytona 6263. The silver panda dial with black bezel insert are an amazing combo! The watch itself has the tried and true 7750 workhorse. I do not have any service records, but it looks like it is running well for a 7750. This watch has definitely been enjoyed, as it is NOT in mint condition as you can tell from the photos. Bracelet has some stretch as well, but nothing too extreme. It may benefit from a polish, but I like to keep my watches original and unpolished. The subdials have a beautiful patina, which is somewhat exaggerated a bit in my photos. Of course if you need further photos I am glad to email them upon request. There are no box or papers, hence the lower price. I am asking $2,800 shipped, via wire or PP (if you add the fee associated) If you have an offer please do not be shy. I would definitely consider trades for other Rolex/Tudor watches, +/- cash. Here are some photos, again if you need more just PM me. Thank you for looking, all the best! |
