48 hour power reserve, alternating between two watches
Not intending for this to sound like an eighth grade math problem but please bear with as there is a question...
I alternate essentially every other day between my Sub and DJ. The watch goes on in the morning at approx. 7:00 and normally stays until bedtime, usually 11 pm or so. This equates (for each watch) to about 16 hours on the wrist, and 32 off, in a 48 hour period. Before putting on the watch I'm wearing that day I give it 40 winds as some posts here have indicated for the watch to run optimally it should start fully "powered" and the wrist time then keeps the power reserve "topped off". Others however have said that if the watch is running just put it on and go, no need to wind... Any thoughts on which of these practices are "correct" would be appreciated, thanks! |
