Just bought my first Rolex. First high-end watch of any kind actually, wore a victorinox chrono the past 10 years that served me quite well. I labored over the decision for months as to which watch to buy, from air king, to sub nd, to sub date, omegas, etc. Eventually decided on the explorer I 14270. Purchased from DavidSW. Very smooth transaction, placed order yesterday and it was delivered today in NJ via fedex. Watch is a beauty.

On a side note. Was thinking of putting it on a black leather strap. Anyone recommend a good vendor/brand for a strap for a 36mm explorer I?
