Missed the darn thing and spent three months finding the exact model with box, card and tags. $300 and it's never going anywhere! I've had it for quite a few years now and while it doesn't get much wrist time, it's a good reminder to stay humble and think of where I came from to where I am now

Ha. Cool story and great reason to hold on to a great inexpensive watch! I have quite a few that I really love to wear that are not $1000's of dollars. As a matter of fact I often find myself flipping my Rolex to buy Tudor or Nomos or other watches that are less expensive.
Probably due to the fact that I grew up dirt poor and though I enjoy nice watches having $10,000 wrapped up in one watch is just not generally my speed.
