As far as the Explorer, don't let anyone talk you out of it. While it might be the most plain of the three you mentioned, it is also the most classic. Guys who wear Explorers (in any reference number) know what they are doing. I owned one for a bit and had to let it go to free up some cash. It's a beautiful reference and Rolex made some great changes to the overall look. At first, the Daytona and the BLNR might overshadow the Explorer but as you get used to owning these three wonderful pieces you might find that the versatile nature of the Explorer makes it an easy choice for any situation.
