Milgauss 116400GV dial looks brown?
Howdy,
I know this watch is listed with a matte "black" dial which has often been referred to on TRF as "dark charcoal", however, when I look at it at the AD the matte dial looks dark brown in color. Whenever I ask my daughter or the salesperson if they see it too they look at me like I am crazy. That said, I know there was at least one older post on this from 2008 that stated the same thing, mainly that the dial looks chocolate brown. Admittedly color can often be in the eye of the beholder and while I am not at all color blind (my brother is) there are times I have seen colors differently than others (I had a charcoal coat that looked more "blue" to me than grey). So, does anyone else see this as a dark brown dial also? If not, is there a known variance in the color of the dial? For what its worth this is the only "black" dial I see this on. Take care, Ruddiger Ps- I was hesitant to post this since I am admittedly a Browns Fan and didn't want to be accused of pandering to my Avatar but, as my 11 year old daughter aptly pointed out, "thats not a reason to buy the watch" and its also not the reason for the post as I am actually partial to the Z-Blue. |
