Lug hole position on Explorer 114270: Drilling New Holes ?
As many of you know, the Explorer 1 114270 lug holes are positioned in a different location versus the one used on many other Rolex cases, such as the 16000 Datejust and the 16610 Submariner.
I read somewhere of people getting new lug hole on Rolex watches as part of restoration services, but wonder if someone have done it just to relocate the lug hole to adapt different bracelets (imagine laser welding to cover old hole and new hole drilling would be all needed). Anyone have done it / knows how expensive that is or who can do the job? Though about Abcwatchwerks but their website seems to be down, so cannot ask them at this point.
