Absolutely terrible writing.

If you go here and read:

it says:

"The accident happened late Thursday, when two large canoes decided to run over a dam under construction near Sevnica, a town 56 miles (90 kilometers) southeast of the capital of Ljubljana. "

Isn't it terrible that canoes are allowed to make such decisions? Is this the same way that guns are supposed to kill people? Heaven forbid if we ever put a gun into a canoe, imagine what they'd do teamed up!
