Major Dilema sorted out...Daytona or Daytona??

Since BaselWorld I have had a major Dilema to deal with.

My 'Grail' watch was a white gold Daytona which I did indeed purchase in 2014. I tried unsuccessfully to have the bezel DLC coated as I REALLY wanted the 'Ceramic' look.

With the introduction of the Ceramic 116500LN, I knew I had to get a white dial. I had to decide whether to sell my 116509 or not. Today I finally bit the bullet and sold my white gold Daytona .... And I am now without a Rolex.

I have spoken to the manager of my Rolex AD this afternoon to se what's happening with the ceramic Daytona. I was told Rolex are being very picky to try and prevent them appearing on the grey market, so they have been instructed to supply 4 names, address & phone numbers of 4 genuine people hoping to buy a new Daytona. The criteria is strictly for repeat Rolex customers. He was pleased to inform me that I was one of the 4 names he has put forward, so it is now a case of just waiting an unknown period of time u till I get the call.
