Incoming!!! PLUS a Story About Why This Forum is So Special

So I've been on the hunt for a BLNR for a while, but I was turned off by the thought of paying full sticker for the watch. I contacted a few people on the forum that said they had gotten great deals, and one of them was Mario, aka superstarmar.

Mario gave me his phone number, we talked, he offered to introduce me to his contact at his AD which gave him a great deal, and he introduced me to help me out. Unfortunately, it did not work out with his AD, as the AD was first unwilling to sell me the watch over the phone without someone going in person to pay for it. Mario graciously offered to go in and BUY IT FOR ME and ship it to me to facilitate the sale. Mario had nothing to gain out of this, just helping a fellow TRFer out. In the end, the AD was not willing to give me the deal that I wanted, and I ended up buying (yet again) from DavidSW, who gave me a very fair deal and another perfect sales experience.

To sum it up, this is not just an incoming, it's a shout out to all of the great people on TRF. To have a guy that does not know you at all, merely shares a similar hobby/passion, and have him volunteer to go out of his way to help you out, that's what makes TRF special. Guys like Mario make this more than a forum, this is a community with some really great people. With that, here's the pic, and cheers to Mario for being a hell of a guy!!
