Very interesting Jorge and I share your thoughts, particularly the subdials. I actually prefer subdials to Windows and gives it the classic Patek style. The only issue I had with the 5146 was the size, 39mm felt a little too big for me and so I opted for the 3940 (I do have a 5396 as well as a modern back up).
