Just got my ss white face daytona at a authorized dealer too last week. There is no laser etched crown. When i got it, the dealer said this one doesnt have it. I see a lot of new daytona's with the crown. Mine is a M series, the newest im sure of. My eyes are fine, it just simply isnt there. Do they simply make some of them without the laser etched crown.

They have been laser etching the crystal since about 2001 and the etched rehaut w/serial number has only been done during this past year (or couple for gold models).

If you have a "M" series Daytona, it should have both....Your Dealer is giving you some bad information....
