Think my jeweler swapped my band???

Hey guys maybe yall can help me. I brought my Daytona to a local jeweler downtown Miami in the seybold building. The watch needed to be shined up. After about a week I called and the guy told me that his watchmaker was out of town and he still had the watch. I picked up the watch and went home. When I started to look at the watch it just didnt look the same. The band was worn in places that I didnt remember. Listen I used to wash the watch at least twice a week and I konw my watch. I got my papers out and checked the numbers. The numbers matched but I had to remove a link from the band to get it to fit like I remember. So the question is WHAT SHOULD I DO? Thanks guys have a great day...
