INCOMING..and..a book!
So wanted to add a third and final piece to my d-blue/hulk collection and was going to be the BLNR but sat in the shop today (not an AD) they had in front of me a BNIB BLNR and an excellent condition pepsi 16710..I fell in love with the pepsi..yes it's 12 years old etc but I LOVED the colour on the bezel played down by the black dial with a classic vintage feel! Also loved it wore different from my other two i.e lighter and thinner giving me options.
I popped into the Rolex Service Centre, St James Square, London just to get a brand new bezel even though it didnt really need it and while talking to their excellent staff we agreed to give it a full service and polish so no pic yet as it's with them for I think 2-3 weeks at which point I honestly think I will have close to a BRAND NEW pepsi :) ALSO..after talking to (have to say a big thankyou to LYNDA the tech there for this) about my d-blue and how interested I was in the history but I unfortunatly had'nt managed to get the awesome hardback book 'Rolex - The Last Frontier' commisioned to go with the watch release (which is some say harder to get than the watch itself!?) she dissapeared and said she spoke to their Corporate Manager who had one and generously gave it to me :) Over the moon and loving RSC, London! |
