$2K AD Discount on New Submariner

Bought my first Rolex last week and the AD went out his way to accomodate the sale. By selling me the watch minus its SS bracelet, I was able to save close to $2,000 off retail. He included a couple of NATO watchstraps and the transaction still carries the full 5-year factory warranty. He mentioned that he could easily sell the stock SS bracelet as a factory replacement later down the road. Since I ordinarily don't wear watch bracelets, this arrangement worked out very well. He also threw in a 2 for 1 dining discount book and 2 lift tickets for the upcoming ski season. No complaints. Interesting forum. Lots of good information.
