New from Florida!

Hey all!

I came here to learn more about Rolex. And now i'm posting here to make myself accountable to start saving for one.

It's so easy for me to justify spending 1-2k USD on a watch, but anything over that will take saving and paying in cash. Sometimes I worry that when the cash is all saved up, ill think it could be better spent elsewhere.. and who knows, maybe that will be the case. But knowing the Rolex retains its value so well gives me some peace.

Just had my 1st child, was hoping to get one this year, his birth year, for him when he gets old enough to take the watch- but that plan won't happen.

While I have your attention though, has anyones mov't been thrown off by the vibrations of a case back engraving? Would like to do that on the watch, for him.

I work as a nurse, wife is a guidance counselor at a middle school- and we will probably be moving to Michigan to be near her family next year.

Thanks for having me!
