Reasons Why:
- It looks great (no one buys a YM for the functions)
- Stunning contrast of the blue dial (pictures don't do it justice)
- Comfort / Fit (lugs, size, polished and brushed links, etc.)
- You don't see them too often (unlike a Sub, GMT, etc.) ... not yet, anyway
Possible Cons:
- Bezel could scratch over time
- Could be TOO flashy
- might not be the "daily" wear
Answers to Cons:
1.) 20 - 30 years from now, any scratches will add character to the watch ... vintage lovers have no problem with patina (as long as it's not excessive). Plus, I'm not hiking a mountain with it.
2.) Watch / Jewelry insurance takes care of the "TOO flashy" nature of the watch (from a "scared to wear it in public" sense). From a "business" sense, I bought the watch so it WOULD get noticed ... don't we all?
3.) "Daily" watch ... I will let you know in about a week once it gets mailed to me. I anticipate wearing it every day (except when I'm hiking all of those mountains and fighting bears in my free time)
The BLNR is a cool watch (I hope to own it one day), but it's about personal taste. My first "buy" was a Blue Dial YM.

Congrats and you've convinced me to change my allegiance, plus now I've bought a black subc . Post some pics please.
