Icon10 Bikers in New Zealand (topless)

Topless biker parade ruled OK in New Zealand

TENS of thousands are expected to flock to Auckland today to watch topless women riding motorbikes after a New Zealand judge dismissed a council's attempt to ban the parade.
Judge Nicola Mathers threw out Auckland District Council's attempt to gain an injunction to stop the Boobs on Bikes parade down Queen St.
The council said it broke a new bylaw allowing it to ban offensive parades.
But Judge Mathers said in the Auckland District Court yesterday that it was debatable whether the bylaw was legal, and whether the parade met the legal threshold of offensiveness.
Parade organiser Steve Crow, who also organises the R18 Erotica Expo held in Auckland over the weekend, said the decision was a victory for common sense. He also said he would be challenging the council's bylaws.

I guess we will not be hearing from JJ today.
