Is my crown fully screwed down?

I read a useful thread this week on how tight to screw down the crown, and followed the consensus by screwing mine 'hand tight'. However I can't tell if the gap beneath is due to the crown's design or is there still a gap? Does this look normal to others? (apologies for poor quality of photos)
