16600 Bezel referbishment

Up front, must admit I'm pretty perfectionistic... my concerns wouldn't likely bother many folks...

I have a 16600 sea dweller with a couple minor nicks/scratches in the bezel insert. The nicks are deep enough to slightly feel and break through the black finish, but are about the size of a pin prick. The scratches don't break the finish, however are noticeable when adjusted in the light.

So, the question is, can these minor imperfections be addressed? Is it cheaper to just buy a new insert?

Anyone out there that refurbishes bezels? Thanks!
