Anyone else get surprised this Christmas morning?
Just wondering if anyone was really taken off guard by a Watch gift they received for Christmas this morning??
I knew the wife visited the local jeweler where I have looked at/bought several preowned pieces in the past. They are an Oris, Hamilton and Tissot AD. So nothing fancy. Last we were there together I looked at a preowned PP and a LNIB Tudor Fastrider Chrono I was offered for $2500. It was during a watch event and the Oris rep and I were there discussing their bronze. So I was sure, knowing my love of Tudor, she picked up the Fastrider and had it under the tree. WRONG!!!!!!! It was the Oris Carl Brashear Bronze. Watch came in last week and she saw in their Facebook post. She was scared sick. After she bought it I told her I was going to pass when they got one in to pick up the Tudor BB Bronze as I was not thrilled with Oris use of a Sellita movement. As they have a 30 day return policy no questions asked, she bought it. And is now telling me to do what I want with it. She seems genuine. Is it a trick??? Merry Christmas Happy Hanukkah to everyone.
