Daytona-C article in WatchTime
Just read the DaytonaC article in the recent WatchTime release, and a bit confused with their reference to the improvements made in the folding bar part of the clasp to make it less prone to causing scratches.
I don't have my watch with me at the moment to compare it to my 116520 but can anyone shed some light on this? I don't quite understand the details behind it, but does the new folding bar not open as far back touching the bracelet to cause scratches? The folding bar (or lock) on my 116520 does touch the bracelet when fully opened causing a straight line scratch mark on the polished part of the bracelet, if that's the scratch they are referring to. This is the first time I am hearing anything about such an improvement and do not recall any threads discussing this matter. |
