Lange 1815 Up/Down Special Edition
Hey Gang,
Here is a picture of the Lange 1815 Up/Down Special Edition for the Cellini Jewelry Store in NY which is celebrating their 40th Anniversary. The only difference is found on the dial - the Number 40 is in Red and the face is a Bright White instead of the more silver/white/cream face on the standard 1815 Up/Down. Only 40 pieces will be made. Nothing else different with the watch. In the picture, the entry level 1815 is also shown to see the slight difference in the color of the white dial. Here is my question. I think the Standard 1815 Up/Down Version looks great and most ADs will discount that watch 20-25%. The discount on this Anniversary Edition is very small. Do you guys think this "Special Edition Dial" is worth an extra 5K? Thanks for looking... |
