I've been using PayPal uneventfully for 6 years...until now. I bought something that never arrived, despite two attempts. My credit card company charged back the amount ($94.98), because the seller never refunded the money, and PayPal said it was too late to charge it back through them. PayPal has now frozen my account until I reimburse them this money. I OK'd the reimbursement today, and told them I wish to close my account. They said it would take a week for my payment to go through. Huh? Their "fast and friendly" payment system allows me to pay anyone--but THEM--in 10 seconds or less?

Anyone else been through this, and perhaps found a better solution?
