Saying hi and showing my new Rolex

So I have had my eye on Rolex for a while but could never afford one. Well a deal came up and I thought what the heck. It's a 1967 oyster model 6427. Repainted dail. No b/p
What do you guys think ?

Eventually I'd like to get a nice aucthentic metal band for it. Anyways I can also get this from the seller for another 250 (Canadian) and it's period correct and not a repaint.
Anyways I paid 1400 Canadian for it. Movement is good, no service record tho and I'd also like a new crystal but just for now all I could afford is the watch. Good deal? You can be honest

* update. I posted a thread asking you guys about this watch before buying it but since it was my first post it needed to be vetted by the mods.

Well I just saw it and read it now after posting this because I thought it never got posted because of the "don't post threads asking about value" and the general consensious was a big no.
I feel dumb now because I did as much research online as I could. Hours and hours and all signs pointed to jump on this one. Augh!
