Help for a newbie - Rolex 1016

Hi everyone, I want to buy a Rolex 1016 for my fiance. I've been doing some research but I'm a total newbie to the watch world.

While I've found some great watches with papers for $13-15K, I was hoping to spend less than that.

I'm looking at this watch - http://www.watchvaultnyc.com/Rolex-E...016_p_649.html. It looks like the seller has good ratings across this forum and others, but outside of that and basics on what is posted, I'm not sure what to ask or what to look out for.
