Need some advice re: 474b jubilee removal

Hi everyone,
Hoping someone could offer some advice and experience here. I recently inherited my late father's coveted Rolex, i wish it weren't so due to the circumstances; I would like to continue to wear it however but need some help as the two tone jubilee isn't really my style. I would like to replace the strap with a classy gloss alligator strap but don't know how as the spring bars appear to be inaccessible.

I believe the watch is a year 2000 16233 Rolex Date. It's the 36mm smooth bezel two tone model with a jubilee bracelet and 474b end links. There are no drill holes in the lugs, and with the 474b end links I can't get at the spring bars with a normal spring bar tool. So how does one change the strap?
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks a tons
