Well I popped my Rolex cherry last week. A couple years back I surprised my wife, and myself, when we randomly walked into the local AD and she picked out a Rolex for herself. It was the definition of an impulse buy. It was around the holidays and it made the both of us happy. She elected to go with a lady datejust, 31 mm case, smooth bezel, silver dial, SS oyster bracelet. Ref - 178240
Since that purchase I've had the itch to have my own Rolex. I've been wearing a TAG that I received as a high school graduation present for the past 15 years on a daily basis and it has never failed me. I've slowly outgrown it though and to me it appears small on my wrist. A couple weeks ago I walked into my AD and began trying on watches. I fell in love the submariner in YG/SS with the blue dial. I kicked around the idea of buying it and then last week I finally said "F it" and bought it. I couldn't be happier and now I'm officially hooked... I see a GMT BLNR in my near future...
