Incoming...Oyster Perpetual

Hello TRF,

I've been a fan of the Oyster Perpetual--the epitome of a simple, classic watch, of a perfect marriage of form and function, sans complication--for several years. The 36mm OP, I discovered a few years ago, happens to fit me quite well, and I've enjoyed the use of a silver dial OP in 36mm ever since.

In the last few weeks, I've been scrolling through the Rolex website. Dangerous, but fun. I toyed with the idea of a Datejust. I toyed with a few options. Two tone. White dial. Silver dial. Champagne dial. Jubilee bracelet. White gold? Fluted bezel? Polished?

I kept coming back to the OP, though.

Yesterday, I stoped in the Rolex Boutique in Beverly Hills run by Geary's. Great selection and got to see all those possibles in the steel.

And the winner? Happily, the least costly of the bunch!

Here it is...
