Well I did it.
After a year of debate I have finally finished my search for my 30th birthday present. I have been around the houses with so many watches, I was so close to buying a panerai but I just had that very slight seed of doubt.
So yesterday I went to my local Rolex dealer to ask to be put (back again) on the waiting list for a no date sub. And to my amazement (and there's!) they had one in stock in the window! After trying all the others on in the shop for fun more than anything I walked away with my new baby. I am absolutely made up with it and love the simplicity of the dial and the robust last for life reeling you get with a Rolex. Having owned a bell and Ross for the past year I really appreciate the quality difference. June is going to take for ever to come till I can wear this everyday with imence pride. Here's to the next 50 years worth this beauty |
