If you took you BMW or Porsche in for a service or warranty work and they proudly handed you the keys back after and you got back to the car and it had two lovely inch long scratches with a slight dent to them as well. Would you think oh well it's just one of those things and drive away or would you go back into the garage ???

My answer....I would be having a difficult conversation with the staff, whilst trying to keep my cool.

I wouldn't let those scratches go either and I would be playing merry hell with them, it's a watch and they should be having less chance of causing this kind of damage. There seems to be a lot of this sort of damage being reported and caused by RSC, hardly a premium service if you ask me.

I do see your point of view, for sure... And partly that's why I posted thread.

However the only resolution at this point that they could offer would be to polish the watch, which I'm sure I could get them to do. But, as some one pointed out earlier, there's a good chance they could screw things up more (like over polish it or something).

So I think right now the best option for me is to just let it go...
