How Many of You Have Turned Down the DaytonaC

I figured give an opposing view on the coveted Daytona for a change. I bought a white faced one in 2006 so me thinks it is a 5 digit model. I don't know the models like TRF members do. The whole experience of getting that call was a rush I will admit. I also recall the AD had the dreaded price increase within the last 72 hours so I got stuck paying the higher but hey I got one.

Now that the ceramic version is out and it is white hot in terms of availability are there some of you out there that had the little plastic coffin in your hand and just said "Meh" not for me and declined? I actually did recently. I have a wonderful relationship with the small family owned AD here and they got a black one a while back and were holding it for someone they contacted but the person never called so they said you can have it if you want. It's beautiful no question but I think going thru the whole thing all over just wasn't as big a deal. Anyone else agree?
