Dial: Original Gallet Flying Officer dial in excellent condition (a few scratches on crystal)

Hands: Original blue hands

Crown: Original unsigned crown

Bezel: Original 12hr rotating steel bezel with red 12

Size: ~37mm

Movement: Gallet signed Landeron 149

Year: 1960's

Bracelet: Leather strap in photos

No box or papers. Service history is unknown but the watch is currently winding smooth and keeping good time. The chronograph is operating as it should.

Notes: For your consideration a rare 60's Gallet Flying Officer Chronograph in amazing condition. This is the highly desirable larger style Flying Officer case, along with the older style flat top "A" Gallet script and beautiful blue hands. The 2 register creamy white dial with red and black writing is stunning and well balanced. The patina is a beautiful shade and nicely even. Naturally when people hear about the Gallet Flying Officer they think of the association with President Truman but we aren't going to use that tag line to sell this watch. Just look at it!
