Removing stubborn dirt marks on TT bracelet

Hello,

My TT bracelet has been collecting dirt on the inside. I have got an old camera and close up shots are not very focused - sorry.

Anyway, I have been using shower gel and a soft tooth brush to clean it, but shades of black remain. When I look closer, there appears to be brushed groves and scratches on this particular link and on another link. Both links meet the end of the clasp when closed, hence I believe is the cause for the scratches or agitation.

Apart from using an ultra sound cleaner which I know some in this forum have, what is the next best thing to clean this dirt marks?
