My 1st post and asking for your opinion
Good morning,
I've been a lurker on this forum for a while; today is my 1st post and I'd like to enlist your opinion. After a 14 month wait, I picked up my white face Daytona ceramic this week. Liking it very much over my previous SS bezel Daytona. This is where I'd like your opinion. I'm a two watch guy and always will be. Which watch would you pick as a compliment to the Daytona? Would it be the BLNR, Sub ND or something else? The Daytona will be my Mon through Fri watch, the 2nd watch will be my weekend watch. I like the BLNR with it's dual color bezel, GMT or date means nothing to me. It's the blue-black bezel. Polished links look nice on this watch. Not as common in the wild. I like the no date sub, as the Daytona also doesn't have a date, but I'm not a diver. I would prefer tick marks on the left side of the bezel (but don't want a SD). Non polished links look nice on this watch. Rich in history, but on the wrists of many. So as you can see, this is about how the watch looks and how it will compliment the Daytona, not what else it does other than telling time. I know it's about what sings to me and I like them both, but would love to hear your opinion, especially from new Daytona (white face) owners. What do you have or have bought to compliment your Daytona. It's about the 1 - 2 combo. Should it be the BLNR or the Sub no date (or something else)? Thanks in advance for your opinion! |
