I feel your pain. I noticed a quite a deep scratch in my Daytona (just below the 'PER' on the bezel) in September last year and was torn between polishing or leaving it. I took it to RSC Singapore and it's too deep to polish and requires bezel replacement. I've since learned to live with it and might consider a new bezel come service time in about seven years or so.
