Sea Dweller 43 Arrival
I was on this forum this morning and called my AD as I read that the Sea Dweller was going to be appearing at AD's in the next few weeks. He said he had heard that from the Rolex rep and I said goodbye. Ten minutes later the phone rings and he says that they just got a shipment in and my watch was in it. I was the first person on his list. Next thing you know, I was was ill at work (does not happen often) and felt the need to leave. The rest is history but I would like to make a few comments.
I never presume to know what is a good fit for someone else on their wrist as it is a personal decision. What I did know was that I owned the Pelagos which measures 49.75 lug to lug and the Sea Dweller is 50 lug to lug. That gave me some confidence as my wrist is 6.5 inches flat and the Pelagos fits me extremely well. I tried to take some photos that would give some wrist perspective but the inclination is the zoom in closer where dimension can distort. I am extremely happy with the fit but as I stated earlier, it is personal decision. This is my first time with the glidelock clasp and it really makes a difference. I had it fitted so I could go either direction with adjustments and I am set. The half link also aided in the fit. Anyway, needless to say, I am quite happy and wanted to take a few photos to share. They are all taken with the IPhone 6 plus. Hope you enjoy. Stephen |
