Never really stressed before - SD43
The 50th Anniversary Seadweller has had me on the fence for a long time, the posts are all over the map on here, it's too big, it's perfect, it's a super sub, it's a smaller DSSD, etc... And my AD couldn't get one anytime soon (not to buy) so I could even try one on. I had the DSSD when they came out, and like others, after a while of wearing it, it was a bit much, I can easily pull off Omega's 42.5 PO's but the DSSD was just heavy to me...
But as you all know, you are the WORST bunch of enablers on the planet, and a long relationship (8 plus years) with DavidSW ended up with a BNIB SD43 showing up at my door this morning (Thanks as always David!!!). Initial impressions match some of what others have stated, it's bigger than the SUB, but not DSSD sized despite the closeness in specs. It seems to come close to the Goldilocks moniker that some have said size wise.. I know a 39mm gets lost on my wrist, a 40 is right there, so this is is ringing the right bells... not sure how my SD4K will feel, but I think my SubC would go before I let any of my SD's go... And, I'm fine if people want to call it a super sub... Anyway, I feel good about this one... Thanks and have a great day!!!
