New member with a question

Hello everyone

I've just joined the forum after recently becoming interested in Rolex's.

Ive come across a Rolex sub 16613 around 28 years old, it has the lug holes but also has the later gold clasp bracelet with the gold running the whole way round the bracelet , but I'm reading that these bracelets wouldn't fit the earlier Rolex's with the lug holes.

Is this true ? It's for sale in a reputable shop in central London.

Any help is much appreciated
