I remember a time when a politician said something crazy about putting a man on the moon. Crazy right! Never happen right! Good thing they tried otherwise multiple products we take for granted today may not exist let alone all the spin off economic growth. That was the last time any politician dared to show real leadership. Nice to see someone else finally taking up torch.
agree. the "it won't make a difference anyway" argument is a self fulfilling prophecy. Leadership is all about looking at a problem and saying "what if", not saying its too hard so we won't even attempt. You have to be prepared to fail to do anything completely new and leaders in this day and age largely refuse to take that risk, and then nothing changes.
