Changing the date on a Datejust

You may have seen my other post about this. On my DJ, a 1998 Quickset, the date is advanced by turning the crown clockwise. Is that correct?

I have owned several DJs but not Quickset. I read online that the date is changed with a counter clockwise turning of the crown. So I thought something was wrong.

I bought it just a few weeks ago at a little offbeat shop I deal with for repairs. I just left there and he had another DJ that worked the same way.

I can be neurotic about things sometimes, so please put up with me on this.

How does your DJ work; counterclockwise or clockwise to advance the date?

THANK YOU!!!
