Hello, new user....possible question
Hi,
First post so thought I'd say hello....long-time watch admirer and Rolex in particular, finally at the stage of life where I can think about possibly buying a vintage example (or at least kidding myself that it's an investment...when really I would just like one...ha) So...is it good form or acceptable to ask for some advice on one I'm thinking of buying? And would it be okay to get some opinions on it here if I post pics? The example in question is a 50s (semi?) bubble-back with fairly severe pitting of the movement visible from case pics.... If not, please just accept the hello and let me know what the done thing is...I've been reading herely passively for ages, and it seems the place to garner advice. I know from years with vintage guitar amps that forum reading is no substitutefor actual time wit the things, close scrutiny, and people with years of experience and a good eye. Thanks, Falstaff |
