The underworld of Replicas

I've always known there is a thriving underworld of knock-off watches out there. It bothered me slightly because in my opinion it cheapens the brands not to mention the financing of criminal activities but that's a whole different topic.

After spending a few hours reading the equivalent forum to TRF but for Replicas (I won't explicitly post the forum name but it contains the words "forum" "replica" "watch" "info", I'm completely astonished at the determination of said forum members to obtain Replicas that exactly match the genuine articles.

I read about people building "Frankens". They purchase a genuine case, crown, dial, bezel and bracelet. The most frightening thing I read is how many sell them on easily, presumably passing them off as genuine.

I really had no idea the replica watch game was this good. Sad really, be careful.
