FS: 1984 Rolex GMT Master 16750 w/ 'no date', 'spider' Dial
Hello! Up for sale is a Rolex GMT 16750. Details below.
OVERALL: Workhorse of a watch. The 16750 combines vintage and modern elements. It has an acrylic crystal and an open 6/9 date wheel but also with a glossy dial with white gold surrounds. Service history is unknown but is running well. This is a 'spider dial' which is a nickname associated to glossy dials where the lacquer cracked giving it a spider-web effect. This is the first spider dial I have owned and it's much more subtle than I expected based only on seeing pictures of them online prior. In fact, I didn't even realize it was a spider dial until after I cleaned up the crystal. It really only shows in certain lights/angles which also made it hard to photograph (but I did my best in the pictures below).
REFERENCE: 16750 SERIAL: 847XXXX YEAR: 1984 SHIPPING: Priority overnight via Parcel Pro included (CONUS) in price. PRICE: $6,600 Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have:
Also looks great on a nato:
